This poem is dedicated to a dear person I’ve known for over a decade. Her strength in adversity has always amazed me, and after a recent and particularly heart-breaking conversation we had, I was so moved and found myself breaking into verse.

Seems like such a curious way to react to someone else’s life experiences, but she is my sister!
