Coping with the sudden loss of a loved one is an indescribable experience that leaves a lasting impact. It brings a whirlwind of emotions—grief, sadness, and confusion—that can be overwhelming. I recently heard the screams and cries of a lady and family whose husband died instantly in an accident when the tyre of a truck blew causing it to swerve and crash into a bus stop. I could not see the incident because it happened on a highway near my home, but her screams echoed through the night. The moment it happened, we heard the peacocks that were sleeping in the Palmyra trees wake and cry in alarm. It was surreal and heartbreaking, prompting me to record this profound human experience in memory of the man who died, his wife who saw her husband die, and all of us who have experienced death.

Who do we turn to when we are faced with loss and death?? In my life, it is Jesus. He is the only one who can not only support us holistically in our grief, but can heal our broken hearts and help us move forward.
